DRESDEN

We took a day trip to Dresden a couple of weeks ago and we brought along our little friend Piotr. We visited the very impressive Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister (Old Masters Picture Gallery) with a collection that rivaled Munich's Alte Pinakotheke and the Galerie Neue Meister (New Masters Gallery) along with a few other museums. Unfortunately photographs were not permitted in any of the museums --seems to be the East German way. It's a shame, we've been so spoiled with all this art, yet i can't remember any of it unless i got photographs to remind me. So i'm just gonna cheat and post web images of some of the pictures that were actually there, before i forget.
