GERMAN HUNTING AND FISHING MUSEUM

if ever in Munich, the Deutsches Jagd- und Fischerei Museum is a must. Housed in an old monastery, with three floors of dead fish and mammals native to and hunted in Germany for hundreds of years. Along with everything hunt related from the knives, riffles, satchels and sledges used, which are all works of art as well, full of amazing intricate designs often depicting little hunt scenes. There was also a full display of the Wolfertinger, fantastical hybrid creatures said to inhabit the Bavarian forests. They even showed a rabbit doing a chicken!
